1. Funding Model

Algorithms and Intelligence maintains its operations through a transparent and sustainable funding system. The journal is financially supported through the following channels:

Article Processing Charges (APC)

Authors pay an APC after acceptance, which helps cover:

  • Editorial handling

  • Double-blind peer review

  • Plagiarism and similarity checks

  • Copyediting and formatting

  • DOI registration

  • Online hosting and archiving

  • Website maintenance and indexing support

Publisher Support

Lyndon & Francis Publishing Group, as the official publisher, provides administrative, technical, and logistical support to ensure the smooth functioning of the journal.

Voluntary Academic Support

Occasional contributions from researchers, academic institutions, and professional organizations help strengthen the journal’s open-access publishing initiatives.

Revenue from Printed Copies

Income generated from optional printed issues contributes to printing, distribution, and long-term archiving expenses.

Algorithms and Intelligence maintains complete editorial independence and does not accept commercial advertising or funding that could compromise academic integrity.

2. Publication Fees for Authors

Algorithms and Intelligence follows a clear and author-friendly fee policy:

Article Processing Charges (APC)

PKR 15,000 / USD 60 (After Acceptance)

The APC covers editorial management, peer review, plagiarism screening, copyediting, typesetting, DOI assignment, digital publication, online hosting, and platform maintenance.

Submission Fee

No Submission Fee

Authors can submit manuscripts through the OJS system free of charge.

Optional Print Copy Charges

PKR 2,000 / USD 10 per copy

For authors requesting a printed version of the issue containing their article.

Fast-Track Review Service

PKR 7,000 / USD 30

Ensures an initial editorial decision within 7–10 working days.

Fast-track review accelerates processing but does not guarantee acceptance.

3. Waiver & Discount Policy

To encourage wider participation, the journal offers:

  • Student Discount: Up to 50% APC waiver for students with valid proof.

  • Financial Hardship Waivers: Full or partial APC waivers for authors from low-resource regions or without research funding (subject to editorial approval).

  • Special Concessions: Reduced fees for invited papers, special issues, and collaborative research projects.

Waiver requests should be submitted at the time of manuscript submission.

4. Payment Methods

Authors can pay publication fees via:

  • Bank Transfer (Local and International)

  • Easypaisa / JazzCash (for authors in Pakistan)

  • PayPal (for international contributors)

A formal invoice will be issued after acceptance of the manuscript.
