Advancements in Renewable Energy Systems: Optimizing Smart Grids through IoT Integration
Keywords:
Smart Grids, Renewable Energy, , IoT Integration, Energy OptimizationAbstract
The transition toward renewable energy sources necessitates smart, adaptive, and efficient energy systems. This study explores the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies into renewable energy-based smart grids to optimize energy generation, distribution, and consumption. Using simulation models and real-world case studies, the paper demonstrates how IoT-enabled monitoring, predictive analytics, and automation enhance grid reliability, reduce energy losses, and facilitate demand-response strategies. The research emphasizes the role of advanced sensors, communication protocols, and machine learning in enabling dynamic optimization of distributed energy resources. Results indicate that IoT integration significantly improves system efficiency, supports sustainable energy deployment, and ensures grid resilience in the face of variable renewable energy outputs.
